I haven't followed this but..then would it be a valid scheduling strategy to try to schedule road games against good teams with a low HCA?
Personally think that would be an excellent strategy.  See, even though we constantly disagree on just about everything else, there's at least ONE thing we can agree on!  :^)
I'm pretty sure I;ve agreed with you on other things before. . just not, it seems, on the ones that turn in to extra long deathmatch/cage-match threads.

We have had some that turned kind of nasty, haven't we?  Oh well, let's let bygones be bygones, huh?

Hey.  I don't hold a grudge.  I won't agree not to disagree with you again if push comes to shove, but I see no reason to be unpleasant in the interim, eh?

Fair enough.    By the way, I'd be a little disappointed if you (or anyone else for that matter) would agree on an issue that they really didn't believe in, just to avoid an argument.  It's one thing to change your mind on an issue and end up agreeing after initially disagreeing, that's fine.  But to do it just to avoid a conflict, especially in a relatively anonymous internet forum, just isn't cool.  A person's gotta stick to their convictions, unless they have been adequately persuaded by facts and good debating on the opposing side to change their stance (and this is not directed at you specifically, or anyone else specifically for that matter.  Just in general).  Anyway, got things to do and gotta run for now.  Have a nice night.  I'm sure we'll be into another "deathmatch/cage-match" debate/argument before too much longer!!!

Hey Furry, I know it's a bit premature, but your Ducks are looking REALLY good this year.  Hard to envision them NOT playing in the BCS Championship.  They look like the team to beat to me.

My goal for now is just the rose bowl. If they can win out, thats great too. I'm just taking it day by day, and hopefully they win the conf and at least make it to the rose bowl. That alone would be a great season, but yeah they are looking great and hopefully they can keep it up. Went to a couple games so far, and hopefully can get into the civil war.

The Civil War (Oregon State game for those who don't know) may be the one game I would worry about, simply because it's a big time rivalry game and anything can happen in those games.  Other than that, it should be smooth sailing right into the BCS Championship game.

I thought a couple of weeks ago that I would like to see them play Auburn so we could all watch a 60-59 Championship game, but after watching what TCU did to Utah yesterday (at Utah, mind you), I think that's the matchup I'd REALLY like to see.  Oregon's high-powered offense against TCU's filthy good defense.  Think that would be a classic.

I think we maaaaay actually get a chance to see that game too, because my gut tells me that Alabama will knock off Auburn in the Iron Bowl, and that may be just what TCU needs to jump up into the number two spot.  Would sure love to see one of the "little guys" get a shot at bringing the hardware home...........
