A newbie, coach A, received this sitemail from coach B.  Is this collusion??  Basicly, coach B asked coach A to stop pursuing his recruits. In return, coach B wouldn't go after coach A's recruits.

"dont want to disappoint you too much bro but you really have no chance to land your recruits. Cant mess with the A- prestige. Drop out now and save us both some money. If you don't secede to me, ill go after your third recruit. "

poor usage of the word secede.

I'd say coach B is definitely violating some part of the rules...

this is certainly not the best way to ingratiate a new coach to the game

Are you coach A or B, and how many scholarships does A and B each have. I feel like coach B can really teach coach A a lesson here.

It's not nearly as bad as "you take him, I'll take him," but it does make my spidey sense tingle.  If you wouldn't post it in the Coaches Corner, then don't sitemail it either.

I don't think so. They are not agreeing on anything. I've often though it - never said it through site mails, but I know when I'm going to win/lose. I get frusterated when a coach who has no shot comes in to try to battle me late in recruiting. I'd never site mail them just because it looks bad, but I got no problem sending a message on the CC just to talk sht that he has no shot. I'll defend my turf, and let you remember when you try to do stupid things. Its not to scare him off that time, but to hopefully remind him if hes in that situation again to rethink it. Again, I see no problem with it. I see a problem with conf mates saying lets all 4 tag team this A+ prestige coach and take all his recruits because he can't defend against us. You take X and Y and I'll take the others type stuff.

It didn't sound too bad until the last part.  Then it became petty and vindictive.

Not collusion... but definitely a textbook case of dickishness
