My season in Phelan is winding down and as CT finishes up and NT starts, I want some feedbacks if possible on my SG choice. My PG, SF, PF, and C are pretty much set, only question is SG. Team motion/m2m.

I have been starting him all season, mainly to get his WE up and squeeze out some extra growth since he is high in all areas. B+/B+ IQ: http://whatifsports.com/hd/PlayerProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=0&pid=1646220

I'm thinking of going with another guy due to him having higher IQ, A/A, and much higher stamina: http://whatifsports.com/hd/PlayerProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=0&pid=1646221

Any thoughts from Vets?

I would go with Howell. Better iq's, a little better ATH, and like you said, much better STA, which means he'll probably be at least as good defensively (if not better) over the course of an entire game.

Howell

In general, I'd stay with Baker, his advantages in SDP and DE make him a better defender at guard, and the two players are very even offensively.  They are so close, though, that I don't think the choice will make or break you.

However, if I was facing a press I would probably start Howell, hoping his superior IQ and BH would slightly lower the turnover rate.  (I juggle my lineups a lot based on this kind of thing.)

As for the STA concern, it shouldn't matter a ton if you are subbing based on fatigue instead of target minutes.

I'd say it is a push, but it kind of depends. If you're playing against a great scoring SG, I'd start Baker. Otherwise I think it's about even because of the IQ difference.

Never thought about switching against the press. Thanks.
