HS statistics Topic

Hi there,

It's my first season coaching, and I was wondering if a recruit's HS statistics have any bearing on anything other than a reflection of their ratings?

IMO, If anyone is looking at GPA when deciding who to recruit, they're recruiting wrong.

IMO, If anyone is looking at GPA when deciding who to recruit, they're recruiting wrong.
I'm pretty new but I disagree. Between two fairly similar recruits, one with 80 WE 2.0 hs gpa, other one with 60 WE, 3.8 gpa, I'll go with the 2nd. gpa helps you learn off/def (I think this is true) but also allows you to put less minutes into study hall.

Sure but I think being able to put 0min into SH is a huge advantage compared to putting 15-20. Maybe I feel this way bc i have a dumbass FR getting a 2.2 first semester grade despite 15min SH, and forcing me to up him to 20 just to avoid ineligibility.
