I can't figure out how to best utilize this DII C.

Do you:

A)  Let him drift outside and bomb away from 3, his natural tendency with 40 PE/7LP.
B)  Rachet his tendency down to -2, and try to allow his elite athleticism for DII overcome the horrible LP and get him to the free-throw line?  (He's one of the better rated FT shooters on the team).
C)  Lower his distro and just let him rebound and play defense.

I've tried all three and can't get comfortable with any.  It's frustrating players like this that keep HD interesting to me.  Thanks for your thoughts.

With 40 PER he might be a bit more useful at PF than C. I'm far from an expert, but if it were me I'd put him at PF and go with option C. He'll get tons of boards and shut down opposing players, and every once in a while he'll put in a mid-range jumper. Then when the backups are in, put a good scorer (Merrell?) 2nd on your depth chart and he'll get some points in the post.

I have not played DII in a while, but I go with prezuiwf.  My main message here would be not to worry too much about his offense.  Get him in there for plenty of minutes so you get his rebounding and defense.  He'll score some points - just see how he does and adjust settings.  Make sure the other post starter has good low post scoring ability so you have an inside scorer on the floor

looks like he is being utilized quite well as of now.  10pts and 9rebs is nothing to sneeze at.

I would disagree ... he's getting 10 ppg on 40% shooting. I think you need to ratchet down his distro and be happy utilizing him as an elite defender and grabbing some rebounds.

drop his distro and let him score on putbacks. he'll dominate on defense and rebounding...

I could use him on my team.  Send him over! :)

Seriously, though, he's averaging  3, 3-point attempts per game?  His 3FG% isn't all that horrible, but if I were coaching him I'd set his 3fg distro into negatives (-1 or -2) to keep him inside where he can focus on rebounding and LP.

i respectfully disagree.  his 3pt % is quite good vs his overall FG%.

if I had this player, i'd set him to 0 on 3pt % with maybe only 2-4 on distribution (depending on how you set up your distribution).  he may not get many offensive rebounds if he's shooting 3s, but he'll still be a monster on D and on the defensive glass.

set him at -1......it is 40 per lets not go crazy.

set him at 0 and have his distro be less than 5% of your overall team distro-- in fact, i'd probably just set him to 0 unless you're bad offensively.

Set him at -2 or -1 depending on match. He could be a solid score. He is similar to Taylor Ross on my Mississippi team and look at what he can do in D1.

What Ross is doing makes no sense ... there are tons of bigs in BCS conferences with comparable ath/sp who also actually have really strong lp and aren't as effective scoring as he is. Just doesn't make any sense.

The 3FG% versus 2FG% gets my attention.  He's such a bricklayer in the post (43%), especially versus my other post options that shoot over 50%, that I'm tempted to limit his attempts to the 3 ball (33%).  He's not exactly filling it up either way.

I'd try Sheffield at the 4 and Kamienski at the 5.  Lower Sheff's distro and set him at -1.  Give the extra distro to Kamienski who needs to shoot alot more.
