Hey, kind of missing this game.  What world/conferences would be the best to get started back again.  Looking at DIII in Tark and Rupp but those are both pretty empty right now seems to me.  Any advice would be appreciated guys.  Hope everyone is enjoying their holidays.  Take care.   

bing - good to see you buddy! hope you had a good christmas/holiday. did you ever try d1? i seem to remember you haven't... the game has changed some since you left but personally i would recommend jumping to d1 because the recruiting is so different, it would serve to spark some interest, i think. at least it did for me. its like a whole new ball game (until after recruiting, then its pretty much the same).

to summarize the changes since you left, there was a change put in place specifically because of your teams to hurt players who take more than 50% of the shots whilst on the floor. the press was then ruthlessly beaten and left for dead. then, indirectly, it was brought back to life. there was much complaining and some rejoicing, although it was certainly drowned out by the complaining. in short, not much has changed in that department :) well, that about sums it up. hope to see you on the court again some time!

I'm glad I could be the reason to initiate a change in the game:) Maybe I can cause another one.  I'll have to check and see if I'm qualified for any DI jobs.  I had a great Christmas.  Lots of changes for me since I left here.  Engaged and now in the first year of teaching.  There is life after HD:) 

Good to see you want to come back bing. If you want D3, Wooden seems to be the fullest D3 world of the 4 worlds that I'm in. If your goal is to get a D2 team I guess Rupp is the best followed by Tark. And if you want to go to D2 in Tark, whatever you do don't go back to the GLV that conference has turned to crap since you left, the Mid America is where it's at, :-).

I agree, come back to Tark D3, specifically to the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

We've got a solid core of owners, many of whom have been around for a long time. Right now the East and the West each has 3 human owners, with 5 of the 6 having 5+ seasons at the school already. We've sent a team to the NT title game 2 of the last 4 seasons, but haven't been able to take down the championship yet, so you could (hopefully) take care of that for us.

Plug for MIAC aside, come back to Tark D3 - *someone* has to de-throne narcotico, and it sure isn't going to be me.

ODAC tark d3 is the best d3 conf for CC chatter. If you're into CC chatter, it's absolutely the most fun you'll have.

if you want d3 come join us in Wooden in the Upstate Conference. One of the best ever assembled, with all vets and long-term dynasties, but 2 guys leaving this offseason. Sign-ups are Jan 2, so you won't have to wait long, either.

Naismith d3 is pretty strong as well.

i joined and just finished my 3rd season there, definately the best conference i've been in.

The CUNYAC in Naismith is looking for some additional coaches, we currently have quite a few long-term coaches. A very competitive CCNY is available, give it a look!

I have teams in both Rupp and Tark and I think Tark is a better world, a little bit more competitive imo. The top of Tark D3 is a little stronger than Rupp so it's more fun. Just my thoughts.
