I would love to see the fastbreak offense fase out like WIS said they would a few years ago, and add the Princeton offense. Why not?

why not? in the long run, i dont really disagree with you. but i think there are more pressing issues. and i think its probably quite time consuming to add and balance a new offense. also, i don't see the harm in allowing fb to exist, its not like its a dominant strategy or anything. i would bet more people think its the worst offense than any other, and also, fewer people think its the best offense than any other. so i don't really see much benefit to removing fb just for the sake of being more realistic when there is other stuff to work on. anybody who doesn't like it can simply not play it, and really suffers no negative consequences as a result.

I see your point Coach_billyg...Great point. I just would like to see more options then the basic 3 offenses. Princeton offense is being used by alot of teams. Would be nice to have that.

the only problem is that princeton is just a derivative of motion. yes it is a different style, but its very much in theory like the other offenses.
fastbreak is a good idea, its just that people dont understand the term. fastbreak is a vague term. and that its not really an offense at all. i think that HD should have a pro offense or set that is just basically either pick and rolls or pick and pop. cause most teams just drive and kick anyway. otherwise the offensive sets are fine IMO.

I think the better question would be, what offense could be added that would highlight core attributes that aren't already necessary?  Maybe an offense that requires great low post ratings or perimeter ratings (perhaps the Princeton offense?) and not require great speed, athleticism, or even ball handling.

I like childplease idea. Mabey they could change it to go more indepth as a coach. Like have a set up of a 4-1,5 out, or a 3-2 set. Options to crash the boards with risk of not getting back on defense. Options of drive more, or set pick and rolls, pick and pops. Click on individual players and have options on what you want them to do more. Play tighter defense (risk of more fouls), gamble more on defense like go for more steals, set picks, guard such and such player. More options of coaching would be so much better. I know that for new users, it would seem even more complicated than it already is on the downside.

I've ran both a fastbreak offense and a slowdown offense with my teams and in my opinion slowing it down is a better strategy.

i would like to see the pick and roll offense....you need a great BH and P guard along with a PF with good PE and SP.  Your 2 and 3 would have to be good PE also....with your C as your dominant LP option.

Or the triple post offense.  You would need your 1 and 2 to be the facilitators while your 3, 4, & 5 would all need to be good LP and ATH
