So I was pursuing this pull down. Put 8 evals in, got close, but not considering, so I put 3 more in next time around, and the kid seemed to be cooling on me. I figured someone else is also pulling him down, and I had other options, so I moved on, but left the scholarship offer on the table in case he dropped.  At 8pm today I get the message that the kid is sold and can't wait to sign, but he still doesn't show me considering, in fact, he still has no one considering him...this seems kinda weird. So, do I throw some effort at him to lock him up (assuming I still want him over my other options) or what?

Have you offered a scholarship?  Throw a home visit (if not too far away) at him and that should seal it barring anyone else jumping in.

In a recent thread one experienced coach commented that he never had a pulldown show as considering him before the signing deadline.  Could that be it?
