I think making Hoops Dynasty mobile apps for the iphone/android would be HUGE for market exposure and ease of use for existing users.  Anyone know if it is in the works?

Waste of time. Apple should just get its slaves to make it for them. Google "Foxconn" and read the official report from the World Health Organization. 18 suicides in one year a plant in China that makes Apple electronics.

Just market the game to friends and family and other college basketball nuts.

i would love the app, would make recruting at work and on the road much easier... but i don't think it would add new users... to get new users fox or whoever needs to get the word out. right now new users are lucking into coming here, or word of mouth. if a WIS segment was added to football pregame, or HBD to baseball games or something it would get hundreds of new people at least looking at the site... but obviously fox does not care.

I'd program the apps if they wanted 'em done, but I doubt they'd be willing to pay for it.

what kind of programming background do you have? do you like front end work? think you could build the entire front end to something like this, if you were given the back end? meaning the html, scripts, and db queries to access the data?

Yep, I could design a front end to interact with that.  I could write the back end pieces, but if someone else is wanting to write that and just give me some web services to hit then that's fine.

For my work I program in VB.NET/C#.  I'm comfortable working with Java and am actually building an android app for my company right now (it's in the design phase, so I'm doing a lot of front end work right now, actually).  I'd have to brush up on obj C for the iPhone app, but I've created a few tests apps there as well so it wouldn't be too difficult to get back to speed in that area.

It would be huge.
