A group effort to get more people to play HD Topic

No way lengthening all of the recruiting cycles to 6 hours is a good idea.  Recruiting takes long enough as it is, but I am not at all convinced the total number of cycles is too large.  I can see lengthening the opening cycle.  I can't see doubling all of them.

I've plugged HD to my readers in my sports column. My fantasy baseball crew all flocked to HBD instead though when I tried to call their attention to HD.

Well I e-mailed admin in the effort to try and get Seble to take a look at this post.

I write a column for OperationSports.com (sports video gaming website). I've been thinking about writing a column about HD for awhile now. Perhaps that could help.
Well, yeah!!

I think GD has a 24-hour opening recruiting cycle.

I would like to see an app for iphones and droids. Would make playing WIS on lot easier when mobile.

Since fox isnt marketing it at all why dont we all chip in with ideas to expand this great game, any idea's?
I'd go to every college campus and let them play for $1 a season- so long as they could verify a college age range (is age verification possible?)

I actually think this is a very good idea.  I mean, no way in hell Fox/WIS is going to send actual representatives to the campuses, but something to attract the sports-minded college kids who are computer savvy to begin with and have a limited budget would be a fantastic idea to fill some worlds and attract the next-gen of coaches.

But who are we kidding, it'll never happen.  I continue to be amazed at the lack of promotion and marketing for HD and really all things WIS, esp. given the Fox ownership.  Stunning really.  How much does even a banner ad run these days on their Fox flagship sportsite when a sister-company could probably get it for a really dirt-cheap price I'd think.

Well let's hope they do again what initially got me into HD. I won my Fox March Madness tourny 3 years ago with a pretty good W/L record and because of it, I got my initial invite for the $4.95 trial. Without that invite, I had no idea any of this stuff was here. Not just HD, but I mean Gridiron, Baseball, and all the rest of this stuff.

accounts with .edu email addresses should get $1 seasons. or at least for one world of their choice.

The recruiting cycle doesn't need to be expanded, but what they need to allow is setting the cycle early. would be such an easy step to let you say at 6 Pm send 10 calls, 3 visits and 4 scouting trips to this player and then it will be done.
