When you take over a new team you can cut players without penalties correct?
Also when & how do you cut them?

You can rescind the scholarship of any player you didn't recruit without a penalty. But keep in mind you won't get the recruiting money for a rescinded scholarship once the rosters turn over. If you just took over the team that would be the case

To cut a player go to the Office tab and you'll see a blue link that says Rescind

There is no blue link does it only show up at a certain time?  Maybe once all the teams are settled & sr's move on?

Also- there is a slight chance if you cut someone, others may leave.  It's only happened once to me, but I wanted to be sure it was said.

Yes, after seniors graduate and offseason improvements occur. Should be the day before recruiting begins
