my god - I think you might have made the most arrogant post I've seen on this board in quite some time.  Even exceeding some of the posts furry makes.

You have a really nice team.  And before you get a chance to post it, your D3 team is better than mine and you are a much better coach than me.  (Unlike you, however, you won't ever find a single post in this forum from me claiming anything close to this level of arrogance.  And being a better coach than me .... well it doesn't say much)

In the Allen world alone, there are a couple of coaches that have similar type programs every season.  They don't always run the table because they have actual conference competition.  Two of the coaches went against each other every season in the Capital conference and also happened to have so many other strong teams that they have had a conference RPI of .580 or greater for 10 seasons running.

Congrats on going 35-0.  It's tough to do that no matter what.  I'm looking to bust your bubble so I will point out that doing it in Phelan is probably the last impressive world to accomplish the feat.  Honestly, I doubt any team could claim to be the best unless they dominate Naismith which is unfortunate, but just a fact given the enrollment in the other D3 worlds.

You might be shocked to learn that if your team really is that good, somebody is going to point it out and it need not be you.  Somehow we were all aware of Rails winning 4 national titles in 5 seasons with 6 consecutive final fours and yet I don't ever recall him needing to come here to point it out to us.

Season 50 Greensboro in Tark was better if memory serves. Also undefeated, played in one of the toughest confs, played the #1 SOS, and had some of the greatest d3 players i've ever seen, including the greatest.

That is not the best D3 team in the new engine.  Thomas in Wooden a couple of years ago would have beat that team by double digits.

That was back before the exodus.  Adambrag was throttling a lot of great coaches back then (I don't think he won an NT game by less than 10 points in season 46).

I think my Drew team in Tark last season can give you a run for your money. FCP team with 66 ath, 58 spd, 65def team avg. 80 avg stamina by seasons end. Team won the NC, had 1 OT loss in OOC by 2 points when my team shot 22/38 from the FT line. I also had a slight IQ edge over you. By NT started, I had 5 players with A+ press IQ, 4 with A+ motion IQ, and only the FR are below A- IQ.

Same thing I told him tianyi. That team you had was equally as impressive as this team.

I saw that team, and it was definitely good. If I recall correctly, you had an edge a SF (although they are INSANELY similar players, exact same speed/ath!) and mine was probably a better role player, but I had a HUGE edge at the big man positions. At center, I think I was >30 rating points better at all important skills. Our guards were also very similar, I believe (something like a matter of preference whether you prefer 85 speed/50 ath or 65speed/65 ath).

Anyways, that was definitely a good team, I'd call it close to equal but I would be very confident in my team (also, my best defender is matched up on your best scorer at SF). Plus you had 7 upperclassmen I think. Which is fine obviously, just sayin' it sure makes it easier to have depth, but also makes it harder to be successful in subsequent years.

People have pointed it out to me that weren't me.

If you don't think being arrogant and making a post that some people may enjoy because they don't spend time looking at Phelan D3 teams is somehow "okay," you could have chosen to close the post down.

Either way, I spend a lot less time in the one game a day worlds because I'm very impatient. I have had quite a bit of success in Wooden D2 though.

I wonder if the owner of that team has a screen shot or his player ratings saved in some way? I'd def be interested in checking it out.

Also, since I have a walkon, my real team ratings are 62 Ath / 47 Speed / 61 Def / 79 Stamina

Not sure.  Very different teams.  He had a ton of speed and def and ran press.  He beat me by like 25 in the final four, and I was totally expecting it.  That was one helluva dynasty he had before he jumped to D1.

And I shouldn't opine about how much better his team was, but it was very good (4 NTs and 2 E8s in 6 years against what was arguably the best D3 world at that point).  You have a phenomenal team, too.  It would be interesting to see the different styles.

Is my D3 team.  It would be a decent game.  Your center vs. mine would be a good matchup too.  And my team isn't even in the top 50 all time.

Ath 82 v 62
Spd 18 v 30
Reb 98 v 96
Def 81 v 69
Blk 93 v 98
LP 81 v 94
Per 1 v 3
BH 1 v 1
Pa 1 v 23
Stm 76 v 73
FT B v C+

But my center is a junior, so maybe next year.  Very good team, but not the greatest of all time.

how are those guys even comparable?

don't get me wrong, that guy is a very good D3 big, but they aren't even comparable. athleticism is the most important rating and he's 20 points behind, not to mention that he doesn't make that up anywhere.

except in speed and LP.
