Coach, I really appreciate you having enough faith in me to extend me a scholarship offer. I hope that you have enough faith to wait for me to visit another school. Unless they show me something, I should be playing for you next season.



my experience says.... no... i never get these guys.  What say ye?

I generally get these when I'm the only one on a recruit and he's just waiting to sign next cycle. Never got it in a battle before.

a much more experienced coach than me once told me, if you have any trouble evaluating a scholarship email whatsoever, spend more money.

Ironically, I got a not leading email right after this.  I wisely spent my money on a recruit that i got, and this one would have been out of reach.

So in otherwords, when I get this message, it's still a no

Sounds to me like the other coach did some more recruiting in the mean time.

Obviously, the other school had more cash at the end. I was tied up 44k elsewhere.
