If they lowered everybody's shooting percentage (they did) then you're not getting screwed.  That doesn't even make sense.  But continue with the righteous anger.

i have definitely NOT seen a change in end of game logic.  Still seeing teams with their C's getting the ball stolen with 0:00 on the clock and never getting a shot...timeout...anything when they are down 3.

chewchad, in the 5 games since the change, your team is averaging 94.5 ppg...that's low scoring?!??!?

Your squad is also shot 49.6% in the last 5 games, 56.7% if you adjust for the 3s.   I'd take that crappy offense anyday.

In RL, there are only 3 teams (Kansas, Georgetown, and Saint Mary's) who are hitting better than your 49.6%

Chew, tell me which other coach 'unfairly benefitted by building their current team for a different engine than the one they had?  They ALL built their team with that engine in mind.  And they have to change it sometime.  There isn't. I don't think, any time when every single world is inactive.  And since when does a team that is now 22 - 2 having won those last five games by an average of over thirty points have anything to complain about?

The mid-season change complaint is legitimate.  WIS failed to build in that capability when they re-wrote the engine in a new language.  That was a regression from the old product where they would roll out game engine changes when worlds rolled over.

Secondly, let's not allow the fact that the guy is being successful take away from his right to criticize the product.  His team may be doing well but for whatever reason he is not enjoying it as much.  He has as much right to his opinion as anybody here.

What are people seeing with the press in regard to the steals change, fatigue change and FG% change?

Here is the bogus response I got from CS.

It's still possible for a game to end on a turnover. There are lots of times where the final possession doesn't play out as expected. For example, maybe as your team was working for the last shot the ball got tipped away to your center and then he turned it over trying to get it to a 3 point shooter.

"For example" NOTHING can happen at 0:00.  If the ball is getting taken from someone it has to happen with time left on the clock it can't happen at 0:00.  There are only 2 ways a ball gets tipped away and ends up with your C who is down under the basket.  A) the ball gets tipped from behind...I seriously doubt in this situation any defender is standing behind the offensive players because when you are down 3 you don't penetrate...or you do it right away and they give you an easy layup...you don't wait til theres 2 seconds left and then do it....or B) your shot is partially blocked, in which case it should still reflect this in the play by play, which it does not.

most significant change, players get less tired, probably a good thing for the game, so far I have not seen any harm at least, and players playing closer to 30 minutes than 25 minutes is real life

sorry...I am being part spoiled brat and part sarcastic.  I think as much money as some people put into this site, things should be handled a little different.  Just because my squad is destroying teams doesnt mean I should be happy the with the way the changes were rolled out.  fact is, my squad SHOULD be destroying teams, but by much worse.

I know the ending of this story:  i get beat in the final four after we shoot 40% from the field.

The specific change by itself not good for the game unless other playing time related changes are also made. As girt always says, whats good in real life may not always be good for HD.

I haven't noticed any change at all, so if changes have been made I guess not noticing them could be a good thing.

mully - maybe, I don't know that is a fact, nor is what girt says a fact, might be.

I have always thought the game should tend toward real life, not always mirror real life, but when in doubt, real life is a great default goal,

tarek told me that in a ticket early on in this game, that when in doubt, he tries to mirror real life, even though he often cannot.  Leads us to things like trying to make FG% in the game resemble real life, may not always succeed, but it is a worthy goal.  In that light, playing time moving more toward real life, is not a bad thing.

But, I'll do you one better, if you make players substantially wider spread about in talent, which has been done, then making a change to allow players to play longer, indeed is consistent with that change, allowing your stars, to indeed be stars, to carry your team long into the playoffs, by playing 30 plus minutes rather than less than 25.

Thing you all have to remember about girt, or mully, or me, or seble for that matter, we know enough about this, that we can pretty much make up any reason to justify anything we really want to.  Never, take any of what is said about this game as gospel, everyone is shooting from the hip.

only think i noticed is my tark teams fg% is about 40 points lower than last year. But then, I'm also playing 5 FR and have a weaker team. I don't quite see the fatigue yet as my team is playing tired alot of the time...but then, I also run fcp and faced a few fcp teams already.
