Based on some of the overcorrections that were made in the past, I'm one that usually fears the worst, but these look and sound like good changes so far.

Absolutely false. 
Really hows this?  Only the higher prestige teams will get the majority of the best players(do to quantitiy) just like d1.
The impact of prestige is much bigger in D1 than it is in D2 or D3.

It's like I said before, it's going back to the way it was prior to the change where all of sudden D2 teams could easily get guys ranked in the low 100s and even the 90s. For the better part of my time in HD the way it's going to be now is how it was. This isn't some new system. All that's going to happen is the quality of D2 players are going to go back to the way they were, we aren't going to constantly see 800 rated guys, it's once again going to be a rarity that a D2 player reaches 800.

What's going to happen is instead of the the A+/A teams getting guys ranked in the 110s and 120s at their position they will get guys ranked in the 150s at best usually and the then there will be a trickle down affect. It's not like because right now B+ teams can get guys ranked in the 120s if they're close enough they will still be able to, now the B+ schools will be getting guys in the 180s at their position. It will still be the same hierarchy just with different players to chose from.

SO like before potential when we could get higher ranked guys?  Thats how this will be?  Im confused I read the opposite?

How could we get higher ranked guys before? Not before potential but before the change was made last May that Seble pointed to that allowed D2 schools to easily guys ranked in the low 100s and 90s. I remember back then when I signed the #135C it was a huge feat since usually for Centers it was hard to get guys ranked better than 160.

when I first started d2 there were coaches getting high ranked d2 guys. I read this change as we will not get as good of players which if true sucks.

As for D2 coaches getting high ranked D2 guys...well, who the hell else is going to get high ranked D2 guys?  That hasn't changed, won't change, and is absolutely not what this adjustment concerns.

I think you are jumping to a conclusion with really nothing behind it. I don't think that will be the case at all.

I read it SON.  And d3 guys can get high d2 players and low d1 guys?  Back when I started d2 coaches were getting I believe 100 level players.  Now its I think the highest ive gotten is like 130's in a sf.  Now if it drops to like 180 then the players will suck.  I dont coach to lose.

last season in both Allen and Rupp, D2 teams landed players ranked in the top 100.
This season in Rupp the #130 C shows up on my D2 search before recruiting even starts. 

I haven't seen much change in D2 recruiting since the player ratings were changed with the new engine.

First of all, the ratings you're throwing at aren't correct.

Second, if you wanted to suspend disbelief for a moment and say they were right, the recruits that everyone could sign would be scaled back. This isn't anti-brip87 legislation.

Sounds like you're already looking for a scapegoat ...

I wish someone would just come out and say whats really going on. They are just trying to make lower D1 SIM schools better by limiting D2 schools. This just sucks for +A/A prestige D2 teams that were use to recruiting 100-150 ranked players. From what I understand this wil be NO MORE! I would understand it better if they were rewarding coaches for moving up in divisions like back in the day but their not...Just another thing in HD that Im going to have to shut up and take it...lol

Im not looking for a scapegoat.  Ill suceed regardless of what they do.  But I feel that this will not make guys go to d1(which they want).  Its messing with a product d2 that has little wrong with it right now.  Why "try" to fix this when there are bigger issues like baseline prestige and job prestige.
