Division II or III Players to Make the NBA? Topic

Has there ever been a division three, or more likely, two, player drafted into the NBA.

I actually do know that there was one; I saw one from a team mentioned in another forum from a DII school. How about DIII?
Anyone ever have such a player?

And while I'm on the topic, any DII player ever go EE?

I just had a D2 player drafted in Knight.  Mark Moir from N. Colorado.  Also, in Tark, one of the coaches in my conference (Notchflaw in the Lone Star Conference) had a D2 player leave after his Junior season.  These things happen occasionally, but they are certainly not common.

that d2 player was too good to be allowed! he was an abomination, a mockery of justice, and we should all be glad he is gone =)

There have been early entries from D2. I seriously doubt any D3 has ever been drafted. Even the best D3 players are nothing more than backups on 90% of the user controlled D1 teams.

I remember a D3 player drafted many, many, many seasons ago.  The catch was, the coach gave him like every bit of the distro and he averaged some insane amount of points per game (seems like it was in the 40's).  I don't have access to all the worlds to check the drafts, but if someone is bored and wants to do some research.........

Found him.  Naismith, season 17 draft.  His name was Frederick Neese, a D3 PG who played at Penn State Univ. Erie, the Behrend College.  Went sixth in the draft.  He averaged 24.8 ppg for his career, so as you can tell, his "coach" just basically gave him all the distro.  Seems like there may have been another one drafted also (I'm thinking he was a SG), but this may be the guy I remember.
