Too much time between seasons Topic

I would love to see about 2 less days in between seasons. If you don't make the post season and fall out of your CT early it is a really long wait.  Do that many people really sign up in that last day?

Typically I don't suck, but even in good years I don't like the "long" layoff.

Not to be controversial or anything, but his lifetime HD record is 24-10.  Just saying.....

they need it to be that long so new players can sign up.

Can you imagine how many people would get frustrated and not sign up if there was only a 24 hour window to become a new team owner?

You can reserve a team at any point during a prior season. It wouldn't be a 24-hour window.

There are reasons for the delays. The delay at the end of the season is to give existing coaches one last shot to renew. Then there are the necessary few days of job applications. Once all of the dust settles they allow new coaches to sign up to try and fill voids left by leaving coaches.

Nothing wrong with the process. It isn't a terribly long wait. If you don't like waiting - go grab another team on a different schedule so that you always have an active team.

i have an HBD team almost for that reason. Always something to check. Very long seasons. Less day to day stuff than HD, meaning during playoffs and recruiting I can check to see if anyone sent me a TC and be done with it.

I don't like the wait, i doubt anyone does, but I know it's there for a reason

You can only reserve Simai teams. There are much better teams opening up once the season rolls over and coaches move up. Tark just had a A+ team opening up in D3 this way.

...which is the whole point of the days after people change jobs. I don't see your point.

My response was to this:

"You can reserve a team at any point during a prior season. It wouldn't be a 24-hour window. "
