You should learn how to use the word advise then. Other that the word Advice.
I can use the word advise, but there seem to be a lot of people using it as a noun on here...

whats funny is that brewman admits that the $10 method is better and more efficient.

he says that his method is just simpler and a better way for newbies to recruit.  because they dont have to decipher the $10 phone calls.

well, since he's a vet, why on earth would he use a sub par system in his own recruiting.  surely a coach with his tenure has learned to decipher the cryptic phone calls, BY NOW

100 is a lot cheaper than spending tons on phone and rejected home visits.

Again I say , this was not my question.

I would use the 100 dollar method every day of the week .. not the 10

Why do you send home visits along with phone calls? And why does anyone use home visits to pull down recruits? That cannot be done no matter what method you use, whether it's the scholarship offer or the phone call. And why do you bother sending more than 1 phone call to a recruit?

I send the Phone call to see what they say, I can't speak for others. I also call the coach.

If the scholarship method is superior, why do you send the phone call? As you said, they tell you the same information, no?

That is exactly why I send out the Schollie first.Thank you tiany

odd convo. you only have to spend ten bucks. that's it! nothing more. info is cheap. why would i spend a hundred on a scholarship to a kid who may not even pickup the phone? ......i can spend a hundred bucks on phone calls for ten players and get info on ten players. while using that same hundred, with your method, i only get info on one player who may or may not be interested in my school. how is that not easy to grasp?

Thank me for what? If 1) scholarship method is superior, why do you bother to even send the phone call (which you claim you do) and if 2) scholarship and phone tells the same information, why would you use the $100 scholarship rather than the $10 phone call.

as I told you previously, if the only recruiting action to a recruit is the scholarship, they might reject it even though they can be recruited. your way of recruiting is not only cost ineffective, it also limits the pool of players you can recruit from.

ok, but lets say you like 10 guys, you'd be happy with all of them on your team. you send scholarships to all, six accept your offer, and 4 reject the offer, that means right out of the gate you spent 600 bucks. right?

lets use the established method. you make one phone call to all ten guys, six respond that you are a backup, and 4 don't even respond to your call, which is a rejection. now you've spent a whopping 60 bucks to get the same info, a savings of 540 bucks. so whats not to get?

Okay let me break it down for you. You just took over a new team and you've never been here before. What did you do the first time??? How did that work out for you?? I know the Sim gods looked out for you and you signed an all american class.   I am speaking from my first experience and how I wish I could have approached it rather than how you guys know every knook and cranny of the emails. That was the Question I think.
