I was at a workshop Thursday-Sunday.  I have my bladder timed for 3-hour intervals. It's amazing...I had to "go to the restroom" at exactly every 3 hours, starting at 8 a.m. EST.   I also  discovered that the hotel computers in their Business Center for faster than my phone.

I love posts like these.  I, myself, don't/haven't done these kinds of things, partly because my phone sucks, but I just always find these posts to be a fun read.

I literally cannot count how many times I've gone to the bathroom at work and sat on the toilet with my Iphone recruiting or gameplanning.

Two years ago I did some recruiting for GD from a public library in Amsterdam. Dedication.

On my honeymoon in Hawaii a couple years ago, I made my first-ever national championship game. Internet access was spotty, so throughout the NT, I had to come up with various ways to gameplan... or even just to find out whether I'd advanced to the next round or not! A couple times I called my cousin and he gameplanned for me while we talked over the phone. Finally, for the championship game, I ended up driving 15 miles to an internet cafe so I could gameplan myself. I was a 15-seed, so I was a heavy underdog. I was tied at halftime, but unfortunately got blown out in the 2nd half. Heh... and that is one of the enduring memories of my honeymoon.

I waited forever to get an HD Oklahoma job. I finally did in Phelan and I'm in my first recruiting, Saturday night rolls around and signings are at 8pm. My first class. A buddy of mine calls about  530 and says lets go bowling tonight and picks this place like 45 minutes from my house but close to his. I don't really want to go but my wife really seems into it. So I explained to her my first class at OU would be signing at 8 and I HAD TO BE THERE in case anything went wrong. She finally relented and at 805 after nothing unusual happened in the cycle we made the 45 minute drive to the bowling alley. For good measure I got lost on the way cause I wouldn't admit I was wrong and it took like 30 minutes extra. So, we walk into the bowling alley and everyone yells "SURPRISE!". It turns out my wife had planned a surprise birthday party for me that night------at 7pm. Pretty much everyone we knew in the world had been waiting at some jive bowling alley for two hours so I could recruit. :)

Needless to say I don't get surprise parties any more.

my girlfriend and I live about 2 hours apart, and i work overnights, so we only get to see each other from like friday evening to sunday at about noon (cause i have to get home and go to bed to wake up for my 10pm start time).

i've recruited while she got dressed, while going 80 on the highway, while she was in the shower, while driving to pick up food, while waiting at the bar for drinks, etc all on my iphone...

i've also recruited for GD while at my Aunt's funeral (and the 2 hour drive to the funeral home)...

before the Butler Pitt game, my best was at a friend's wedding - I left the reception to go to my car, popped the laptop out of the trunk and did a quick bit of recruiting - deftly timed for the last five minutes of one cycle and the first five minutes of the next........

I cannot match those.  But, I can report that once a few years back I was at the beach.  Lost connectivity.  I bore with it for a couple cycles but just could not let it go on.  Fortunately, we lost connectivity because it was raining pretty hard, some lightning etc - so I said "honey, why dont I take the kids - younger then - to the public library, they can amuse themselves for a couple hours......"  I did not mention that the library had internet access.......wam, bam, hit a couple cycles AND earned many home points!
