That's nuts.  I guess it is all about ATH, SPD and BH.  This guy is a little bit similar, and although we are only 10 games in he is shooting 55%.

Being an 80+ percent FT shooter definitely helps considering he's averaging nearly 8 FTA's/game, but, yeah, would not have expected a player with those numbers to be that productive.

When you consider the team plays FB/P, it is not so crazy.

this guy is shooting over fifty percent on the season? Averaging nearly 16 points a game?

((ATH+SPD+BH)/Guard)*Fastbreak/Fullcourt press= win.  Allot of fastbreak breakaway baskets.

Also just looked, and that 89 defense with the speed and ATH, which is netting him 2.9 steals a game might have something to do with it.

I believe it. In fact, I take alot of players with similar attribute for my fcp team:

I understand why this is possible in the fastbreak offense, and kudos to all of you that pull it off, but doesn't that seem incredibly wrong that a player with that poor PER and LP should shoot that high a percentage?  Why even have those ratings then?

Because high lp players can shoot .600, and high per players can shoot .500 from the 3pt land.

High LP:

And not everyone runs a fastbreak offense, or a fastbreak/press.

And he isn't shooting that high of a percentage.  He's getting fastbreak baskets which are often easy layups and wide open shots.

Look at the shot descriptions from the first half of his 23 point game against Babson. . .

Also worth noting that the stats have come against a weak, mostly sim schedule.

Playing FCP/FB it makes sense since he'll get a lot of uncontested layups. I take LP to be interior scoring when being defended so he should miss the vast majority of his contested shots but due to his O/D combo he should get tons of uncontested shots with his ath/sp/D combo.

It's Rajon Rondo

4 - 6 on layups and dunks (Actually, 4 - 5, one he was fouled and the shot didn't count)
3 - 10 on anything OTHER than layups or dunks.
