This guy declaring early? Topic

I don't have much experience with early entries, but it seems like this guy isn't an elite SF.  Is it weird that this guy declared, or is it right in line with what should happen?

29-2 will do that to you, I guess.

I had a 752 C declare from my Texas Southern team last year.  Kind of a surprise.

That's pretty rough, my only guess would be his rebounding numbers were really good for a 3. Definitely dont think he should have EE'd though.

He was a 2nd team AA, that played a huge role. Also his speed is really good for a SF, his reb is good and his per/lp combo is really good. Due to his weak bh/p I'm surprised he left early but everything else makes sense. Every season there are a handful of guys in real life who go pro who are head scratchers and WIS is no difference. At least he'll be drafted and you'll get a prestige boost from it.

Along with him, I think 1 of my seniors will get drafted and it's possible a third could get drafted.  Would getting 2/3 guys drafted be enough to bump up a C+ to a B-?

You'll probably get the B- no matter what. I was in the same situation with Alcorn State in Phelan when I was a C+ and I had one senior get drafted in the 2nd round and got a B-.

Are early entries guaranteed to be drafted?

Yes, they're guaranteed.

First, this guy doesn't have EE type ratings. He's good. But not EE good.

Second, I'm fairly positive that there is either no (or at most a very tiny) direct correlation between being named an AA and EE. AA is mostly a statistical honor, while EE is mostly ratings based, with team success being the #2 criteria. And whether or not a guy is named to the AA does not directly increase his chances of leaving early.

Yes, they're guaranteed.
I recall one occassion of this not being the case, but it's a general rule
