I promised a player a starting spot, if I don't start him for a game or 2 will his work ethic drop??  If he starts like 90% of my games will he still be "happy"?? Help Please

Yeah, I did the same thing you can sit him a decent amount.

Keeping 80% of your promise, starting 21 games should have no we drop,fbomb emails. That number has been peer reviewed for validity.

Sweet, I'm assuming I'll want to seperate the games of not starting him rather than sit him for like 4 or 6 games in a row?

Yes.

Once conference tourney starts, promises end. Don't have to worry about starting him. Depending if you promised minutes..if player complains, could start him with low minutes. Overall mpg still go to who you want.

If you have more games than that in which you don't want to start him you can just bench him completely.  Then he still sees himself as starting 100% of the time.

Here is a guy I promised a start to.  He's started all 10 of my team's 21 games in which he has appeared.  Work ethic is up on the season.

that is really wierd dasher... i was going to tell you i thought you were wrong... but obviously if its working for you you must be right.

maybe i just assumed it went by starts out of total possible games?    ... since i know the minutes promises are affected negatively when a kid plays 0 minutes  (i think it averages in anyway)
