hey guys
it seems to me that redshirting d1 players changed in seble's big release, but pretty much never redshirted d1 players in the first place, so i am not sure how it stands today. it seems like one time, with a lot of money into a guy, he was 100% unable to be redshirted. does that sound right? and was it always that way? if there are players who won't take a redshirt, does anybody have any idea where that line is drawn? thanks!!

I haven't noticed anything like that - but I usually do the inform and 3 HV thing...

At D1? I can't imagine that will do anything for the type of recruits billy is talking about. I did 4 HVs and inform of RS with a guy ranked around 130 n he took me off his list with an A- prestige. That definitely isn't working for a top 50 recruit.

i wish i remembered the details, but i am thinking i had about 10k into a guy, redshirted him, and he took me off his list. but maybe it was less. i guess i will have to wait till 1am and try, so i can right the ship while everyone is sleeping if it doesn't go well... although, then there is FSS data. stupid FSS data, coming out at 2:00. kind of ruins the games you can play in the middle of the night.

I'll be watching to see who you do this on and try to swoop in, lol.

3hv usually isn't enough at D1, but some guys take it no problem ( in the 50-100 at their position range for a B+/A- team)

anybody know if you can redshirt a guy like, #1 at his position? or #10? i know the lower guys for an a+ school will have no problem, im wondering about the studs. ive got four of them (hopefully) on one program, and 1 senior next year, so i definitely want to redshirt.one.

I've never been able to redshirt a top 50 caliber guy (although my teams aren't usually good enough for me to try).  The very few times I've done "inform of redshirt" on a guy of that caliber, I've been immediately dropped from consideration until I removed the redshirt.  Good luck though....
