Subbing in for shooter? Topic

So I was scrolling through a boxscore today and I noticed something out of the ordinary. It seems you can't sub in for the shooter on free throws. Maybe I'm crazy but it seems to have come up a couple times. My starting pg has an extremely low stamina and if he stays in too long it could really change the game. Anybody else?

Yes, you should be able to sub in for him if he makes the last free throw he's awarded, but it doesn't happen in the game currently.  And yes it can be a problem with fatigue.  I'd sure like to see it changed, too.

I'm pretty sure I have seen this happen.  It caught my eye because I mostly watch the NBA, where this is not allowed (to the best of my knowledge)

I don't pay that close of attention to the box score, but in college basketball after a made free throw if there is already a sub at the table for the shooter they may enter the game.  If you watch some of the best coaches they will use this to help their team get into their press or also to change up their sets and match-ups.
