It was kinda strange for him to basically to have 0 fouls for the first four games. So, maybe it tried to auto correct the foul distribution in one game! lol. I guess you forgot to pay the refs for that game.
Thats my thought exactly. I think there's some kind of built in average for players, so when he avg 0.5 fouls in the first 4 games at over 20mpg, the game had to correct it with him fouling out in 8 min, even against the weakest team on my schedule.
I had a similar incident a few months back within a game. It was the NC game and my opp starting SG (who avg 2.5stl/game) was in foul trouble and played only 12min, with 0 steals. He comes in the final 2:30, picks up 3 steals in 4 possessions.
I'm pretty sure that there's no game-to-game stats correction of any kind. But also, why sweat the stats in a blowout win? Maybe the kid realized it was an easy game and didn't take it seriously.
It's just a little strange to see this guy not draw fouls for 4 games against far superior competition, and then suddenly, foul out in 8min. I know the new GD engine, when it first rolled out, had this kind of in game system where a RB will go +1 yard, +0, + 1, etc. and then break out an 80 yard run to hit the magical 4 ypc avg designed by jconte.
This is a blowout win, but if an autobalance system is in place, it could just as easily happen in a competitive game, or something like what happened in my NC game 5 seasons back.
