Is prestige advancement absolutely capped at "B" for a "D" baseline school in D-1?  I thought I remembered hearing that, but I'm not sure.

Also, when was baseline prestige introduced, I couldn't remember that either.

It's atleast B+.  Dartmouth in Rupp is currently a B+.

You can get into the A or A- range for sure -- one or two teams did it when we had that great conference going in the CAA/Rupp.

EDIT: Just confirmed, both UNCW and Delware were at A- for awhile, and almost positive that one or both got up to an A prestige after the draft. There may have been others, but those were the two I remembered and specifically checked.

I had Manhattan in Tark at an A- at their peak, and that was in a conference that was primarily sim.  In a ticket exchange I had Tarek tell me that they were about maxed out unless the conference prestige was raised.

Lizak had Army up to an A-minus in Smith after winning the National Championship there in Season 35. As I recall, it was about a half-filled conference, but Army was the only NT team that season (two others made the PI).

Prestige hasn't changed, I believe.

Joe is right, B+ is the max (it's where I am), at least without winning the NT or temporary bounces for draft picks.  I think you can go up to A- if you win the NT (i've gone as far as the final 4, which, with two 1st rounders, put me at A-).

You can definitely get to at least an A- without winning the NT, that I'm sure of. There are several teams who've gotten to A- (or A with draft picks) by winning the NT, as well as some teams that have also gotten to A- without winning the NT.
