OK, thanks.  I wil focus more on stam.
It's your call. I'm starting to focus on stamina a little more now myself. I think the option to go uptempo is very helpful

I think going uptempo against the press is the right play when you have great ball handlers. I used to always do this and kill press teams. But with recruit generation lessening BH I'm not sure it's the way to go. I'm not saying it's a bad strategy but just in theory it would seem weaker ball handlers= more turnovers vs. the press. I haven't really tested it enough to be sure, so maybe tianyi can give a more informed opinion on how that is going now.

Totally agree.  Four of my starters are 80+ and I use it against lesser zone and man teams.  I have just never gone uptempo against press, but maybe that's a thought if I add some stamina.

That's been my thought for some time.  With the lack of great bh/pass in D3 PGs, I have thought the press holds an advantage generally.  But maybe by upping the tempo and forcing the press teams' starters into foul trouble and/or stamina issues, you can combat that.  I don't know, just spitballing.

We've already rolled over to recruiting in Iba, but Westminster(PA) last season was definitely the most talented D3 team I've ever had..Motion/Man team. Lost in the Final 4, but I'd take my chances with this bunch every season.

I'll try to paste the ratings in here, but I doubt it'll turn out pretty. I can't pass up the chance to shamelessly brag on my team though. Best starting 5 was Steigerwald, Reed, Shafer, Price, Urbina.

Iba isn't as deep as it once was, but it's still pretty heavy at the top most seasons. The team that beat me didn't even win the next night in the finals.

quit giving ike tips on how to beat press teams.  he's hard enough to take down as it is.

That Emmanuel team from earlier has held the #2 SOS to under-.400 shooting from the field and under-.300 from distance while posting +8 REB, +3 TO, and -9 PF/game.  If you want a dominant man-to-man team, that seems hard to beat.

Well, Emmanuel is losing its luster after its 2nd loss. Hard to say this team is dominant or the best M2M team when it's 21-2 with potentially another 12 games on the schedule.

I play that Emmanuel team for the 2nd time tomorrow night. The defense is incredible, but the offense (particularly Per/BH/Pass) is a little lacking to be the best m2m TEAM imo. That being said, they'll probably hold my JW team to 40% shooting again and win by double digits.

Depends on how you interpret the original question.  Are they looking for the best DIII team that plays m2m, or the DIII team that plays the best m2m?

fwiw I looked at the stats compared to the Westminster team I posted. Emmanuel has slightly better defensive numbers and slightly worse offensive numbers, pretty much I was expecting. Emmanuel seems to run uptempo most/all the time, so that contributes some to the counting stat margins. Westy ran mostly normal tempo with a few uptempo and slowdown sprinkled in.

Emmanuel's FG%/3pt% is .519/.361, and opponents .398/.288
Westminster finished at .528/.434, and opponents .401/.263

Per play is that team's biggest weakness, no secret there.
