Limited upside
Then he definitely didn't gain five points that first season, either.

All signs point to mis-remembering what his initial potential was.

(And I know that you made some sort of mention re: zhawks high-potential post, but I'm unclear how that could/would explain a player going from what you thought was high potential during recruiting to limited when the player thoughts email came out. It couldn't explain that.)

I know what signs point to girt but I also know what I saw. This guy had two low potential ratings and none of them were in speed. If he didn't grow 5 pts he did grow in speed his rs season. You don't see a guy with that many high potential ratings and forget or mistake it. With that much green on a page your eyes are drawn to the red and it wasn't red in speed.

As far as the zhawks post high-high would be getting FSS high potential and a certain message in your scouting email of the same rating category(ie either this kid is the laziest kid ever or we could see massive improvement in blah) this is a high potential message you'd get after scouting. Then to further complicate the potential you have the player thoughts email which also can decide how much a player will grow.

I believe my player has low high potential in speed because he was high in speed potential according to FSS I'm certain of this, but low in player thoughts email.

It wasn't LOW in speed, perhaps it was AVERAGE - low average - in speed?  You could not have your eye drawn to BLACK among a bunch of green.  A marginal low average potential on FSS might be able to be a limited potential on the player thoughts. . . they do seem to interpret things differently.

I wish I had a screen shot. If there were any doubt that my guy was LOW or AVERAGE in speed from a FSS report I wouldn't even bring this up. When I say he was high in everything except rebound and low post I mean he was HIGH. It's something you don't mistake. I could see if like you said there was some black average marks but it was two colors man, red and abundantly green. Do any of you all think if you recruited a player that had the same potential you could mistake it? It's too easy to see and it's too memorable.

Quite honestly, it strikes me as fairly stunning that you could have that crystal clear a memory from an FSS for a single player from three months ago.

I have an extremely good memory and remember more about my players then I'd care to, but I would never be this sure about it.

High-low (the lower end of a High rating) in scouting is (roughly) 20-28 in total growth.

Low (limited upside) in player thoughts is equivalent to the Low range in scouting (0-8 or so).

There is no way to reconcile the two. You either remember incorrectly, or there is a bug of some sort with your player.

I have never seen an incorrect FSS potential.  Ever.  I'm not saying 100% that you remember incorrectly.  More like 99.9%.  Go ahead and bring your alias on to say he remembers the same thing.  Still not buying it.

I guess I could be wrong, I am human, but it's just something I don't think I would forget simply because of how it looked. By the way customer support said there's no way he could have been high potential... I'm still sticking to my story but I could be wrong... it was a while ago.

I don't believe I have an alias I would use in that manner... it's not that big of a deal honestly.. I just wish he would have grown in speed and I thought he had the potential to grow. You seem like you've been playing this game for a while so you may know the coach I'm referring to.
