Occupy HD.

For veteran coaches with previous Rupp experience: We had an overmatched coach bail on the last cycle of jobs and now have an opening (SMU) to be filled.

We are building a BCS conference in C-USA, so far with great results. Heading into Season 6 of the project, we're now consistently getting four teams into the NT and half a dozen into the postseason, ranking in the top 5-6 of conference rpi every season. We continue to make headway and at this point are getting pretty close to becoming a legit BCS conference -- really the only one of its kind in HD.

We have an unbelievable collection of coaches, including iguana1, coach_billyg, aejones, acn24, jamespastine, dacj501, weena, zags27 and myself (sorry for those I left out, it's early and I'm working off the top of my head). It's an unbelievable collection of coaching talent, and as competitive and interesting a league as there is in HD. We've been a completely full conference for 3-4 seasons now, and SMU is the only opening.

So if you have previous Rupp experience and qualify ... we'd love to have you.

Man, I would totally be up for this if I had a Rupp ID.

Yep, last cycle.

However, a successful veteran coach has been coaxed out of retirement to take over the reigns of SMU.

Well I would have taken this if I was aware of it last night. Girt and I have talked for a while and Houston was open this year, but I know that Jamespastine applied so I opted to wait for next season and take billyg's tulsa.

I love gill, I do, but he's seriously burnt out I guess. I can't imagine Tulsa will be in great shape after this season. gill's UK team in Tark started with 6 walkons, and 2 of the scholarship kids have now gone ineligible...

When you say, "the only one of its kind in HD," you mean aside from the MWC in Smith, I guess, right?
