As of right now, signings will start at, I believe, 7 PM Thanksgiving night for Allen world.  Is this the case (if I'm forewarned, I'm fine) or does it usually skip a day or something?

I think it's a nor-rain-nor-heat-nor-gloom-of-night thing, but I figured I'd ask.

it doesn't change for holidays.

It does change for holidays, but not Thanksgiving.

Recruiting will jump for holidays like Passover since it prevents the use of electricity.  WIS won't automatically jump recruiting but a single ticket will remind them to move the calendar.

ahhh how I miss the good ole' days.
Years ago, when worlds were full and trolls were young an spent much of their time on the forums... this thread would soon be 12 pages long and someone would have be-rated or insulted every form of religion know to man before it was over.
Yes my son... those were the days.... when many a fine Hero would rise up to smite... oh wait, maybe I was thinking of something else all together, nvm

you don' know may

has not jumped in years - despite holidays, earthquakes, hurricanes - it did once and I think WIS saw it was an error

does jump if the gerbils that power the servers go on break

By the way, we can use electricity on Passover. However, using a glue gun during Hanukah is strictly forbidden. We are also required to assemble at the nearest Chinese restaurant (where God has determined kosher laws can be waived) Christmas Day. L' Chaim and pass the pork fried rice.

Oops.  My bad.

Now that I think about I think we had to push back recruiting one season because it was Rosh Hashanah.  But I'm not 100% about that either.  Either way, I know WIS did push back recruiting a couple year's back because of one person's beliefs, which was one of the dumber things WIS has done.

I believe that no cycles should run in anything between 10PM and 8 AM mountain time... or any weekend I go to visit my parents- due to my personal beliefs and values.

I stated it once, but to repeat - they don't change recruiting. Its been ticketed and asked dozens of times, and I know they did in the past at least once, but they won't anymore. I agree with this stance. My recruiting shouldn't be interrupted by someone else's beliefs. Your recruiting shouldn't be interrupted for mine. Easy peasy.
