Player 1 has higher Athleticism, Speed, Defense, and Stamina all of which are better for the Press. However, Player 1 also has low LP. Perimeter, and Passing which would make him pretty weak at a guard position. Player 2 is the better shooter and passer but has low skills for the Press. It really depends on what their potentials are but if I had to make a choice between those two strictly based on the data above, I would pick Player 1. Player 2 is the much better position player but because you are playing Triangle you don't need him to be a shooter. I realize Player 1 has low Passing but at DIlI there will always be holes somewhere and the key is to go with the better strength.

#2 is going to have higher ath/stamina after a season and a half.

Like I said, I was making my pick without knowing potentials. Obviously, if that is the case then #2 would be the better choice.

Go with player two - after a season or two, it's not even a contest

take player 2 and slap the redshirt on him. he'll be a good player in d3 after the first season of playing (so after 2 seasons of practice and offseason improvements).

#2 is going to reach his potential faster, which I believe will be higher. As it's been said above, after a season or two it will be clear #2 is the better player.
