Love almost all of these.  The one HATE? - The recruiting max piece.  If you have six in a class and want to go after a recruit with the intention of cutting one of your current players this would now be prohibited correct, unless you cut your player first?  Personally I would want to gain security I can land the guy and then cut my own player.  Anyone dumb enough to recruit a guy not realizing he is maxed out for that class deserves to be bit in the end.  Let us make some decisions for ourselves.
Send a ticket - I did.

I noticed the NT history under 'stats'.  Has that always been there? Or is it new as well?
Always been there.

Couple of comments:

- The projection report won't show correct ordering of teams until the next game cycle (this afternoon or tomorrow am) runs for each world.
- I hadn't thought about the issue of recruiting a player above your class max before cutting a current player.  Maybe instead of a complete restriction, I'll just add a prominent warning.  The goal of that change was just to prevent people from spending money on a player before realizing they couldn't sign him.
- FT potential was overlooked.  I'll try to get that in soon.
- I'll look into switching the colors to help the color-blind.

the color coding is great and all, but haven't we already gone over the problem with WIS using red and green?!?!? would it have been so difficult to use red and blue or some other color that's distinguishable for those of us that are color blind???
...but for the rest of us, red and green are the universal "bad" and "good" colors.  Are they the same to you on WiS or is one darker?

Love the quick response to some of the concerns. Thanks seble!

Agreed, on the quick response.

I notice some difference on alot of my guys potentials. There are alot of reds that were still average just a couple days ago on the player thoughts e-mail, and no maxed e-mail from the assistant. If I drop to 0 in red areas... will they begin to slide? since I don't have the maxed e-mail yet. Other-wise the color coded chart allows you to begin moving those practice minutes out of maxed areas MUCH sooner than before.

Red doesn't mean maxed, it means low potential.

They will appear to be the same in most instances.

But some color blind people are blue/yellow deficient instead of red/green deficient, so if the colors were changed to blue, then that may also affect some individuals!

Good to see Seble is going to change the recruiting thing to just a warning. Everything else is awesome. This is really cool.

I am color blind and have extreme difficulty telling the red and green they use apart as well.  If you some reason like this one it has to be red and green, it would be extremely helpful just to lighten the shade of green for instance.

seble, replies like this are hugely appreciated. Nothing's ever going to be perfect, but just knowing that you're listening and responding really goes a long way!

This is going to let everyone know the exact caps of their players maybe a season or two in advance.  And just in general take some of the strategy out of setting a practice plan.
I don't understand how this tells you exact caps? I can understand the point of knowing when somebody goes from green-black-red, but if somebody is green you won't know what their exact potential is. If somebody begins in the black you also won't know. While right now you can't guess an exact number but you can be pretty close. I don't see the big difference between knowing the exact number when it crosses into the black or red and being a few points off.

ard - i'm color blind for every shade contrast testable...and i can see the difference between blue and red - even if i think i'm looking at purple and orange!

For the color-blind guys, is orange and blue a safe combination to tell apart?
12/1/2011 4:23 PM
You can never go wrong with Orange and Blue.  ILL!
