Lost 2 signed recruits? What? Topic

fyi, i am fairly certain you cannot get more than one AI to show up. tons of people on here have mentioning trying 2, and i haven't ever seen a success story.

thanks, when I recruit 8, i cant for certain remember all the details. i knew one was AI but, oh well. They were decent pick-ups for me.

I realize this is an old ticket, but I wanted to confirm something:

In this original ticket message, I mentioned that I had tried to sign 2 ineligible players in the same season. I am seeing from people on the forum that no more than 1 ineligible player per season will report to campus under any circumstances. Is this true, and if so, couldn't someone have mentioned that in the reply to my original message, since it is likely that is what lead to my desired ineligible not reporting since another player already had? Here I am thinking I just need to spend more, and maybe I do, but the scenario I described couldn't work at all if indeed only 1 ineligible per season is allowed.

No, that's not true. Each player makes his decision independently.

so it is possible to have more than one ineligible player report in the same season?

Yes.

I bet we could have this pinned at the top of the forum and we could wait for months and months for someone to come forward with an example of a human coach getting 2 AI kids to actually show up and both sit out the same year.  But it just doesn't happen like CS says it indeed can.  The only one who can do this is SIM AI, and I have seen this recently.

Agreed.  I've seen a couple of Sim teams with two ineligibles signed in the same season, but I certainly can't remember a human coach who managed to do it.  Not saying it's not possible, just haven't heard it yet.

+1

the pecking order of quality of information, what trumps what, generally goes like this:
1 - your own facts and knowledge from actually verifying something
2 - the consensus of a good group of coaches (depends on the coach if this is #1 or #2, for good-not-great coaches, this is still #2)
3 - the opinion of one very good coach (can also be #1 or #2)
4 - something directly from the mouth of seble
5 - the mindless ramblings of a really drunk but still good coach
6 - something a coach nobody ever heard of posted in a forum
7 - a CS ticket response, not from seble (although, sometimes from seble)
