Conference/National Awards Topic

Quick question: if my player wins a conference award and a national award, does that boost my prestige to help recruiting? Do winning this awards mean anything beyond a smile on the coaches face knowing he recruited one heck of a ballplayer?

I ask because my star PG Daniel Cameron is averaging 15.2 ppg in 17 mins. 54% FG, 51% 3pt, 1.8 steals and 2.8 apg. In 17 minutes. I'm think he will be a lock for Conference POY if he can average 22 mins a game, BUT I want my redshirt freshman PG to get minutes (and my JR third string PG has complained about minutes). My conference has some weaker teams, so my backups get minutes and starters don't play all that much.

Only team performance helps your prestige, not a ball-hogging star. LOL

Only things outside of team performance that affects your prestige are:

Recruiting Violations
NBA Draft Picks
