Just found the main issue with the job status and released a fix.  The statuses should correct after the next season. Please submit a support ticket if you were unfairly fired.

Any fix for the hiring process in general not just jobs people are qualified for. My example on page 4 is one of the problems that is also going on in the process.

I like that more than the last few years matter, but now basically if you ever rebuilt a school or had a rebuilding season you are screwed. Coaches who constantly poach good school to good school are rewarded with the jobs over a coach who spent 15 years at one school experiencing the normal ups and downs that happen with doing that; especially if the school they took over was in bad shape causing them to have several bad seasons before becoming a regular NT team.

seble, thank you for taking a look at this in a timely manner.

Did your fix only address the job status issue ... or did it address the larger issue that everyone is worked up about, which is that extremely qualified coaches are currently not qualified for jobs they should be because of the problems with the recent change? (See: many examples in this thread, tickets, etc.)

seble, will your fix apply only AFTER worlds roll over?  In other words, if I'm hoping to move up from Mercer in Crum to a big-6 conference (assuming we have a successful season), will your change help make that any easier or are job changes still going to be working off the old logic in Crum at the end of this season?

Is the fix even about job changes or just about job status? Or is the job change still the same as it is currently, which is what most of the people posting are unhappy about. Thanks in advance for communicating what the fix was. My son and I were both wanting to move up to D1 in Smith after the current season.

So did the change not apply for Wooden world which is in the jobs change process currently? If so that really sucks because I have to waste another season in DII

Doesn't look like it because I am still shown as not qualified for any even though I should be

I know in the post he made he said the change would affect worlds after the ones that are currently in job change.

That sucks, so I have to waste a season that I paid for because of their problem.

yep... more $$$ for wis...

SEBLE: I would like to know what your ETA is for having this jobs issue fixed?

In spite of it's flaws I really do love this game and enjoy playing it immensely.  It provides me with many hours of reasonably priced entertainment...however I do think that every coach that is not given a fair opportunity to move into another job (which is every coach in certain worlds) should be provided with a free season.  As was pointed out people may have targeted specific seasons to hit a peak and move on to other jobs and now they are unfairly stuck in a situation that they can't get out of and may have to endure a less than desirable season as a result which could once again impact their ability to change jobs un future seasons even after the current situation is addressed.

thanks bow! a free season would definitely ease my anger as I was expecting to easily move to DI following the past season in wooden. I sent tickets about getting a free season twice now because of this situation and they do not even really answer my question. It's comical the answers they give with their customer support.

Shagnew at NC Wesleyan in Phelan in the USA South (D3) has made the Sweet 16 two straight years, but is not qualified to move up to D2, according to a post he made on the conference board.

The fix yesterday only applied to job status, not moving between jobs.  I haven't settled on a date for a change to the job movement process.  Any change would immediately impact all worlds, so I don't want to do that in the middle of the job period for any worlds.

I understand that even lowering school requirements won't make the new system perfect.  Ideally the logic would be smart enough to recognize rebuilding situations and other considerations, so there may be a further update down the road related to that.  But I still believe that once the school requirements are adjusted, the new logic in place now is better than the old system.

So those of us who already went through jobs changes basically got screwed and were not compensated for that in any way? Thats the answer I keep getting from support. THANKS!
