Do you get recruiting credit for guaranteed minutes or starts if you are not in the lead in recruiting a prospect? I seem to remember that those only are of value if you are in the lead.

But you have to be in a close battle to get them accepted. Seems like they should be accepted if you are on the considering list.

I think they should always be accepted.  I don't know how a person can reject a promise from someone else.  It's not like it would matter if they won't come for a campus visit or allow a home visit.  I just don't see how someone can "reject" something they have no control over.
