This is just something interesting - I don't want to claim it as systematic at all - but in Tark DII, we just had the first round of the NT.  Winners:

1, 2, 3, 13, 12, 11, 10, 8
16, 2, 14, 4, 12, 6, 7, 8
16, 15, 3, 13, 5, 6, 7, 8
1, 2, 3, 13, 5, 6, 7, 8

That's right: no 9th-seeded teams won... but two 16s, a 15, a 14, three 13s, and two 12s did.

The last bracket he posted up should have the 4 removed.

I was the only 4 seed to win and I was losing with under a minute left.

There's just not much difference between the teams in the NT in non-D1.

in Iba D2 we just had the exact opposite...7 of the 8 E8 teams were 1 or 2 seeds and there were only a couple minor upsets throughout the tournament....then i woke up to this in Tark!

Round two results are in.  Here's your Sweet Sixteen:

1v12, 11v2
16v12, 6v7
8v13, 3v15
8v5, 2v6


There are now four teams left with top-four seeds... and six with double-digit seeds.  By seed, it was the best to be a 2, 6, 8, or 12 in this tourney.

I also find it funny that in D1 Tark (same world), the elite 8 was four 1's, 3 2's and a 3. It was very chalky.

Tark D 1 Final 4 is all #1 Seeds.
