The most he can get for himself is $750. By winning the championship. If he did and he played another team from his conference in the championship game, the most he could get would be $1500 - if they had the final four and two in the championship game You would STILL have less than $2,800 extra. Meaning that in that ridiculous scenario, even with six scholarships of money, there would STILL be only a total of $11,750. If the cheapest way to twenty states is roughly $4,500 then that would be about the only way to achieve it. That would leave about $1,200 per slot for recruiting.
True. I just did the math, and he would have just had about $2,333 from last year's post season. BUT, I am willing to bet he had carryover money, although that is speculation. So let's assume he carried over 1k after saving 4k, just for the sake of argument. that means he now has $21,333 (assuming he has 6 schollies.) That may be a little far fetched to say 20 states with 21k, but I'm fairly certain 10-15 is not out of the question. He has won 4 of the last 5 championships, so with the top prestige, extra money, and semi strong conference, he could very well be stashing the cash. I doubt it is too hard for him to grab recruits.
I'm not saying its true, but I'm not saying it isn't. I'd like to see him clear it up though.
