What does it take for Home Court to go up? Topic

My Nebraska Wesleyan team has won 33 games in a row at home. At what point does my home court go up to C+?

I don't know if anyone has ever charter this or seen what it takes to get it to the next level. Also, what is the highest a D3 home court can get too?

Highest D3 homecourt can get to is a "C" rating. I believe post-season success, team's media ranking/overall success also plays a role into homecourt rating. My guess is with another NT berth (and preferably winning a game there), you should be bumped up to a C in the off-season.

it isnt about home success alone - i think overall success is the key

Beat someone who doesn't suck, end with a top 25 rpi, and win some NT games.

Correct. I've scheduled 10 "winnable" ROAD games in non-conf to boost home court advantage before. The secret is winning. But yeah, I believe D3 is capped at C and D2 is capped at B. You only see A's at D1.

Does having a A homecourt rating have a big advantage over having a C homecourt rating when playing a opponent at home? Or is it kinda like window dressing and just rating how you play at home?

My best guess is that each full letter grade difference in home-court grade is worth about a 2-point advantage (compared to playing on a neutral site). I estimate that an A+ home-court is worth about an 8-point edge, B+ = 6-point edge, C+ = 4-point edge, D+ = 2-point edge, F = 0 (same as playing on a neutral site).
