For a second class at a C- school, I'd say you got 3 decent players. Don't worry about the "useless" comment. That guy's won a bunch of National Championships and I'm sure, for him, those players would be useless. Kind of like what Roy Williams would think of players on Canisius. For your team and with your coaching experience, I'd say you did OK. Not that you shouldn't take the advice given to you here, because that's how most of us learned, but put it perspective.
Yep, I agree. The "useless" comment is more than a little over-dramatic. No, neither post player is going to be a stud, and some opponents will be able to abuse them because of their low ATH. But if you manage their minutes so that you don't have them both on the floor at the same time very often, they can be useful as far as rebounding / shot-blocking. For Wadlington, I would put a ton of practice mins into conditioning right away so that both the ATH and the STA get a little more respectable. One other point on the big men: while both their LP's are going to be good, I'm weary of them as scorers because of the ATH / FT issues.
As far as Feingold, I'm pretty happy with him if either his ATH or his PER is high-high. That would make him a really legitimate sixth man.
Overall, as others have pointed out, the biggest area of improvement for you (as it is for so many new coaches) is to emphasize ATH (for every recruit) and SPD (for guards and SF's) more in the future. Good luck.
