D3 power conference? Topic

I reserved US Coast Guard in the SUNYAC. Had you wanted to take an easy path, I'd have passed. But starting a conference from scratch in Wooden will certainly be a challenge.

I'm really liking the idea of Wooden growing.  Imagine how awesome it would be with even a 3/4-full world in D3?  It would be SUPER tough to get recruits, but isn't that really the fun of it?  More recruiting strategy, more fun?
It must be March, guys are wanting to pick up more teams!

Ike, do you think the formation of these new conferences can cut into the big 4's dominance? If projections hold true, the big 4 (Michigan, Upstate, Minnesota, and Midwest) might account for slightly more than 40% of the national tournament teams!

I have to agree. We all know there can only be four power conferences in Wooden: Upstate, Michigan, Minnesota, and Midwest.

But, hey, let them try building one. I think it's sort of cute. ;)

Friendly jab aside...I welcome the additional competition in Wooden D3 with open arms. It would be awesome to see this world fill up!

norm, i'm way too lazy to look it up, but what percentage of at-large bids go to the Big 4? Must be massive.

Thanks. It's been a while indeed. I have a few D1 teams again, and one at DII, but I've been itching for one at DIII.

Well, I was about to talking a big game and ask when the last time one conference won three in row (because pep is clearly winning it this year), but I see that thank to adambrag, the NAC did 5 of 6 not too long ago.  Man those Thomas teams were incredible.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, ike. But I think any number of teams can win it this year. And as much as I love trash talking Upstate, I think Brandeis has to be the favorite...

So, given the cockiness of the existing coaches in the superconferences of Wooden DIII, it would be nice if we could fill the SUNYAC up with committed veteran coaches and eventually, you know, put these guys in their place.

This sounds interesting I haven't done d3 in a while, but ill reserve a team.
