axe, almost every company everywhere sends out a first response to support tickets that sounds like that.  It takes care of the majority of requests and saves a lot of time on the developers' parts.  If you persist they will likely review your request more earnestly.
Agreed, I would keep pushing the issue.
agreed as well. respond and point them to this thread...

Is it wrong that I don't know what fubar means?

f-ed up beyond all reason I think.

I guessed the first word...

It is with a bitter laugh that I report that the next response I received was another auto response.

I've always known FUBAR to mean f---ed up beyond all repair or all recognition but reason works too...

Well I was just guessing, seems like any of the 3 could be interchangable without significantly changing the meaning.

The jobs process is awful.

In the Army, we always used "recognition" for the R (at least everywhere I was stationed anyway).  The rest was the same though.  Getting back on topic now.......

axe, your CC was actually the beginning of my motivation for this thread...that and the fact that it looks like Arkansas will have to become dogshit before we get a human coach in there - not from lack of desire, but because of the new system...
i wanted to take it, couldnt on either user name. both had 1 bad season. one had rebuilt texas a&m from mediocre to national champion in like 7 seasons. the other had just teh one bad season, preceeded by a title game loss - in the past 5 seasons before the bad, 5 2nd round, 4 elite 8s, 3 final 4s, 2 title games. the 4 seasons before that, rd2, s16,s16, e8. not my finest work but how the hell are neither of those teams qualified for... wait for it... ARKANSAS. makes no god damn sense. even at an a+ prestige.

actually i was wrong about a&m... they were pretty good... b+, made the NT like 6 out of last 9 or something, with 1 sweet 16. but then i had rd1, rd2, rd1, rd2, e8, s16, s16, champion, PI champ game, 12-15/123 rpi. that one is not nearly as bad as the other account, who had been at kentucky for a long time, and despite not winning much, they had a LOT of very good seasons.

also the fact that like every job is like not qualified, or step backwards, is just plain retarded. doesn't matter how you slice it.

This is the part I hate as well for moving within D1. It's longshot, not qualified, or step backwards...that's retarded.

Hey, tiannyi7886. You left out the craziest part: keep looking. We're told it means a combination of longshot (which more or less means not qualified) and step backwards (which means your program is better than this one). Seriously, can you imagine the WIS meetings where this was discussed and chosen as a way to make the jobs process more rewarding for the coach/customer? When trying to understand the WIS approach to its paying customers, I sometimes feel like the SNL news guys, during a segment of "Really??"
