Quick answer!...How big a hit does your prestige, reputation and loyalty take when you cut a player? Would be the first time in 7 sevens to cut player.

Seasons.....

Indy, usually you can cut one without seeing a hit (it'll be your rep, by the way), especially if he's not a player that you recruited.  If he was recruited by you, you may move from say an A+ to an A-,  but you should make that back up in the offseason.  Better to take a small rep hit and get rid of a dud, then get stuck with him for four seasons.  No hit to prestige or loyalty.

when dcy says no hit that you can see, he means that there is a tiny decimal hit but not big enough to move you a grade - if you cut 2 or 3 it gets bigger - more than linearly

When can you cut a player? I thought it would be at the end of the season.

Once Naismith rolls you should be able to cut.  Also, you can only do it up until signings start and you won't receive any additional recruiting money.
