I remember a few teams in weaker conf (NEC, OVC, etc.) having guys go EE. If any of those coaches are reading, can you please post a link of such players?

Good stuff bow2dacowz. Any chance you remember their ratings? Were they close to 800 or 900.

Galbraith was a monster and I think was around 880 but had a 4 years in the program including his redshirt year. Hoped he'd stay but wasnt surprised when he left.  One of the best mid-major guys I've ever seen, so credit to rolltide for getting him to Troy in the first place, let alone getting him to redshirt.

Palmer was drafted after 3 seasons but was somewhere around 810.  His stats were never very good even the season that he left as he was only the 4th or 5th best scoring option on a pretty good team but his ath/def/reb/lp combo was high enough I guess.  I was definitely frustrated when he left.

this guy never did anything in his 3 years and i believe was only around 770 rated

i suspect the common theme will be that all mid major EE's are going to be big men

As far as I see, no guard has gone EE from weaker conf? I hope this is true because I'm afraid of this guy leaving early, given the kind of min/shots he has gotten:

I think his speed us too low to go really as a guard, but that's just a guess

id be shocked if he went.  there are 900+ rated guards that go undrafted every season

In my final year at Knight, NEC Conference, Sacred Heart team (year 21), I had both a point guard  (Frank Pate) and a shooting guard (David Brown) go EE from a  27-4 second round NT team.
