Has anyone had booster gifts accepted by a recruit?  All 3 times I have tried to use them they have been returned and then later I have been investigated.  I am wondering if this is a string of bad luck or if they're simply all risk with no reward.

Back in the early days of HD, I offered gifts and they were accepted.  I was still investigated and put on a post season ban.  Personally, I think it's all risk and possibly some reward but only with penalty.  I don't know if they have tweaked the engine to allow some people to get away with it or not.  But personally I would never do it.

i used them twice, both times they were returned.  The first time I was investigated and cleared, the second time put on probation.  Doesn't seem worth it, I have not used them in over 10 seasons.  If probation is short it doesn't seem to really affect anything but your reputation, so that's also kind of dumb.  I am not sure that they ever provide any useful advantage.

i used it once, had them returned and got caught... set me back 6 seasons in reputation... which hurt cause i was hoping to move to a big 6 school and couldn't.

If I get found guilty I'm dropping that world, seems like a useless feature

they should just remove boosters. it's almost never worth it, although the results could be skewed, because coaches who did successfully use boosters probably never told anyone about it. 

When you used the boosters did you do the psychological Eval? I'm sure most people do but I've never used it and was wondering what messages you get from it?

I never got a response back when I tried to use them, is this normal?

First caesari, you're presuming I'm telling the truth.  Second seriously?  The admins at WIS don't go around enforcing these rules, it's just part of the engine; they don't even go around responding to tickets, they certainly don't try and enforce imaginary recruiting violations

Do you have extra seasons on your account?  If you did not get a responce it means you did not send them.  You need xtra season to send gifts
