It wasn't an insult.  I'm making the quite obvious point that someone with 278 teams and 4350 seasons of WIS (or 3497 posts to the message board) under their belt has perhaps lost some perspective on this game.

Moreover, and more importantly, I didn't ask 'acn' to tell me what I "imagined" concerning 'cornfused's' post.  Yet he offered it in lieu of answering the questions I posed:  How many people have played HD?  And what percentage have won multiple titles?

Congratulations, acn.  I'm sure your family is very proud of your success.  But that wasn't the question I posed.  

 It may seem cut and dried to someone that has dropped enough money on WIS products to purchase a small nation, I suppose, but not to someone approaching the situation with a wider lens.

For your actual question - you'd need to get that from CS.  However, looking at the worlds I have access to - here is a summary of the number of coaches who have multiple NTs in the same world:

Naismith:  31
Wooden:  27
Rupp:  28
Smith:  26
Allen:  34
Crum:  26
Tark:  29

There are cossovers between them obviously, but it also doesn't count coaches who have only 1 title in multiple worlds.  Considering I could only get numbers for 7 of the 10 worlds, I'd think that a conservative estimate might be that 250+ coaches have won multiple NTs.  Which while it makes brip a very talented and successful coach I think most people take 'one of the best coaches in the entire game's history' to mean better than the top 250.

You also mention that this ridiculous hiring policy (that you only spoke out about when one of your friends did something that they knew would most likely preclude them from being able to take a DI job) is going to lose them money - but brip points out that he's probably done when his credits run out - so this isn't costing WIS anything).

Denouement:  thankfully, even though nothing has changed, Brian was able to sign up for a D-1 team for next season.  

So much, I suppose, for the elaborate defense of WIS's hiring metric.
