i got an email from pagan from my team (email actually came little over a week ago)  there was a previous email ot that asking for more minutes.

All I asked for was a little more playing time and I'm not seeing it - I let you know about my concerns and you don't do anything? Here's a concern for you - you may have an extra scholarship next season.

i made no promise to this player, he fell out of favor because his best skill was scoring and i had 4 players who could score better than him and a freshman who started playing great defense took minutes away from him, with the fact pagan was my 5th scoring option and didnt offer much more than that, especially when guillotte was bringing it on the defensive end even as a frosh, i didnt have much of an option.

losing my 4 top scorers after this year, wats the odds of getting pagan back or should i plan on losing him ?

Transfers are a crapshoot. I've had players complain all season, lose 15-20 points in WE and stay.

wow, interesting you brought that up, i never heard of anyone with the last name pagan before and didnt know, it was a actual word that had to do with religion. 

thanks for your feed back stein, i guess ill cross my fingers and hope he comes back, if he doesnt come back, im confident in having 3 decent scoreres, just like to have 1 outside threat ready too keep the defense ready, im not confident in delisle but maybe being just a sophomore he can give me 10 minutes a game and force the defense to play the perimeter honestly or i can just go after a transfer, that knows the offense.

because you want him to return he won't. If you had wanted him to transfer, he would stay. That's my experience anyway. Not sure how they know - call it witchcraft (or other pagan rituals)

I have 2 guys on my Long Island team that I'm praying transfer...... even if one of them go, I'll be happy.

here's my favorite email from one of my bench warmers.... 

"I know you didn't make me any promises, but I should be getting at least 13 or 14 more minutes of action. I'm only getting about 1 minutes per game now."

It's S-T-I-N-E dammit!

this guy isnt a bad player, hes in the low 80s in both perimeter and low post, it just happens hes below average defense, cant rebound....and i have 4 scoring options on this years team that is better than him and never year he would be more useful, even next year he is likley to be my 6th man.

i had a guy 2 years ago, after his junior year i was hoping for him to transfer and he didnt, it would be funny based on what tdiddy said if this guy goes when i want him to stay.

I don't know if its just me but on this team I would be playing Pagan a lot more. With a 78 LP and 80 Per at DIII this guy could put up big scoring numbers. Plus as long as you play the matchups right he won't hurt you much on defense. I certainly wouldn't be playing Giulotte over him, he only offers defense and with him having a freshman IQ his higher defensive rating can't be much a difference from Pagan.

You can bet your next paycheck that if you want him to transfer, he'll stay.  If you want him to stay, he's gone.

skinzfan36, he was my fifth scoring option and with ath and speed in the 40s, he doesn't get alot of shots off because, kurcz, harrison, richardson, heckel handle most the scoring.  i actually had his distro way higher than lowery, and lowery was scoring the same with less attempts, so i up'ed lowery and got a guy who was over 50 percent went pagan was struggling to hit 40%.  guillotte brings rebounding and more athleticism overall, especially the past 10 games i noticed a big difference in guillottes rebounding since he shows some big rating improvements there.  

it was something i just coudlnt figure out last year and the first part of this year, why he just coudlnt score.  one expereinced coach said because his ath and speed were just average, neither category was above average.
