Some simple changes that I think should be made to HD

1) you should be able to promise starts as sophomores in recruiting.  GD already allows this

2) Standings should list record vs. top 50 and top 100

3) International FSS

I like the first two ...

The other would be to stop treating Puerto Rico as a bastard stepchild for FSS:  If you can have teams there, let it be FSS'ed so that those teams aren't punished.

I think they should add the following to recruiting: 

The ability to sort players based on what position you are going to play them at. This way it is easier to keep track when I have 50 recruits I am interested in but some will be playing out of position based on their cores.

As an addition. . . I would love to be able to have all my current outgoing recruiting efforts in one list.  Just be able to see what I have going this cycle in one place so I can see if I did something I didn't mean to or failed to do something I thought I had without clicking through several players.

Something a little different, but does anyone know if/when HD will start keeping track of single-season and/or single-game records? I have been looking forward to something like this for a while. I know Seble has mentioned it before, as well as keeping track of graduating seniors' final ratings, but I haven't been to the message boards in a while.

once agin i will be the voice of resaon................seble doesnt care what we want, period, end of story. the guy does one update a year if we ar lucky. i wish i was smart enough to do his job because i would only like to work one day, week, month a year.

agree here, I've often wanted such a feature as well.

But sadly, willow is right, so all these threads about theoretical improvements will very likely remain just that...simple wants and wishes from the users.  The only way any add-on improvements get implemented is by sending a barrage of tickets all about the same topic all about the same time such that they raise a flag for someone.  Seble doesn't act unless he sees consensus, and sometimes even that isn't enough.  Threads like this one probably go unnoticed, and sporadic notes to customer service seem to get treated more like annoyances than opportunities for improvement. 

For the life of me, I wish I knew what that guy did day to day.  It ain't HD stuff...that's on cruise control for the most part.

WIS is Fox Sports' red headed step child.  It just isn't high priority.  

maybe a thread should be-a campaign to write a barrage of tickets to give us the changes we want.

I see no changes, wake up in the morning and ask myself...

On a more serious note, I wrote this a month or so ago and think this may be my HD cause.  
"One thing i've thought could help new users grasp the game quicker is to have info boxes associated with key terms.  For instance, if I am on the practice page and click athleticism, a info box will appear telling me the basic function of athleticism.  Also, under the explanation would be a link to the search function in the forums showing everything that has ever been discussed on the subject.  I think most new users don't notice the search function. If they did they could avoid making some rookie mistakes and not ask a question that has previously been asked."
I think other changes will come once HD starts to see increased profits.  The best way to do this is by implementing changes that encourage more coaches to join and increase the retention rate of new coaches.

Request you take a look at the 5 player rule in which a team can only lose a maximum 5 players (not counting walk-ons) in any given season. Much like I thought when it was put into place, this is allowing the rich to get richer and creating an even more uneven playing field between the elites and everybody else.

This rule has shown its effects by this time, and has been bad for the game.

I'm frustrated by the lack of concern for HD. Back in the October timeframe, I had hope that there was going to be a more forthright effort between the developers and the customers, but after the December release and the subsequent effort to correct the immediate problems that it caused, there's been a complete silence on behalf of seble or anyone.

We're aware that HD hasn't gotten the attention that it deserves and we apologize for that. We have tough task here of trying to shuffle around our limited resources to handle everything on our plate. There are plans for a few smaller updates to HD in the coming weeks.

What could be a smaller update than just undoing that stupid rule?  All he has to do is change a number from 5 to 12 and it is gone.

Just a quick update, coming from the GD side of things (where I spend a lot of time):

I believe based on tickets and forum posts from Norbert that GD is getting the major update right now. I wouldn't be surprised if most, if not all, of WIS staff is working on that. If any kind of update or attention is going to come, I'm willing to bet it will be after that.
