I think the players contribution should be a factor. If a guy averages 3 mins, but has the overall rating and the team has postseason success, he shouldnt leave for the NBA.. If anything he should want to transfer to play. This is NOT real life and there is no NBA game. So why should a fictitious player who doesnt contribute, but may contribute in the next season leave to NOT contribute in a non-existent NBA league? We pay real money to then spend fake money to recruit players to PLAY for our teams.. I've had many backup 3.5 min a game player go EE.. I honestly would prefer to see the player play for another school then to simply leave for nowhere (NBA).
+1. Right now if a team buries a really good player on their bench, and he gets drafted, there are two small benefits: a) they get a small prestige boost for the pick, and b) no one else can play him. If he transfers, it would disincentivize teams from recruiting five 5-star players, because who would want to waste all that money on someone who will only play 2 minutes, then play for the competition next season. Im slightly biased because i don't have a top tier team and stand to benefit from any trickle down, but i think enough other players will that the game will become slightly fairer and more realistic.
