I've been keeping an eye on him, his overall is definitely impressive, and he's already putting up solid numbers.

How much more room for growth does he have?

Yes, a redshirt freshman indeed, a fact that I gladly volunteered. Redshirting is a great and legitimate tool to either help develop a player with a bunch of potential or to simply get more seasons out of a player at the peak of his abilities.

Good for you man in all honesty.  I redshirted a freshman who I thought wouldn't really be worth a salt about 5 or 6 seasons ago and he ended up being one of my best/favorite players of all time, so I know where you're coming from, and you got a **** ton out of that guy...congrats...I hope he top 15s in everything for you.

Thank you! I think he'll end up top 15 in minutes, points, assists, steals, and perhaps all three of the percentages.

High in LP and FT, low in Dur, avg in everything else.

Assuming the 7 and 20 point scale of growth, the numbers I know about (I think) were approx 62 ATH, 53, SP, 76 RB, 58 SB, 58 Per, 58 BH, 94 ST, 73 Dur.

he has high-highs in: DEF, RBD, PER, LP, P, SPD, ATH..... does he look kinda how ur guy was when u first recruited him? btw how did u allocate ur practice minutes for that guy. Im trying to determine how I should do mine for him. he's a SG so do it evenly across the board or give more to his cores? his WE is a 42 btw.. any insight on how to do this would be greatly appreciated

They're not really similar players at all, but as for developing your player, I would focus on conditioning, defense, and then PER/BH/P if you want him to play SG. You could also go another route and instead of the guard cores, allocate some minutes to low post and rebounding and make him an SF in his first year or two, then focus on the guard cores and he'll be able to play multiple positions on the floor.

And if you do plan on playing him at a guard spot, I'd definitely put a few more practice minutes into passing than elsewhere because that number needs to be higher than 18 in order for your team to be as efficient as it can be with him on the floor.

He was just named National Freshman of the Year. I'm giddy :)

At D1 I think you can roll with 9 players every year.  D2/D3, getting those RS years for development are key, so I think you need 10 so you can RS one.  Unless you play FB or Press.  Then 9 is a bad idea.  But at D1 a walkon every year isn't bad.  Its not as good as getting quality players at all spots, but its not bad.

All-time school leader in Minutes, Points, Steals, and 3FGM. Third in 3FG%. Fourth in Assists.

Seventh-leading scorer in D3 history in Knight, and most minutes played across all three divisions in the world.

And a cool 795 rating for a D3 player.
